Would like to be able to run my aging for AP, AR and Holdback for yearend as it would have ran as of that date. When running my holdback now (mid year) for yearend period, unable to tie to the holdback at year end.

This report is very necessary. We need a report to show Holdback in retro. Not having such a report has cost us a lot of time and money. Our accountant keep requesting a Holdback report to tie in with our year end and Sage 100 Contractor does NOT currently have one.
I can see the value in such a report, and I'm not opposed to voting for it in concept. My question is, why not simply run the set of reports after closing each period, and keep them until no longer relevant? This is the same thing we do with period financials, after all.
have you tried running a 3-1-3-41 report for AR and a 4-1-3-41 for AP?
The problem with running the reports after closing each period is that they continue to age. If you run the aged reports on 12/31 and then again on 1/2, with a period cutoff of 12, the total will still be correct but some invoices will have aged into the next column. If you aren't ready to close out AR on the afternoon of 12/31, your year end reports will never be correctly aged.
The problem with running 3-1-3-41 and 11-1-3-41 is that there is no invoice detail.
