Don't allow for a new record to be created if there is "0" balance. Or, allow for the new record to be deleted. I have several records in Open with no balance to bill.

Agreed. I have three open AIA's that cannot be deleted because they are in a prior year. For example a small project had 3 months of AIA's. We accidently chose Next to create a #4. The job has been long over for more than two years, and I can't delete #4.
To remove it, we first have to void the cash receipt, then void AIA #3. Then repost #3 and repost the cash receipt. Can this be done in the current year without causing an issue?
