I want to send job cost reports tor current jobs to project managers weekly. I have to constantly add and delete the job costs reports in the schedule reports..It would make sense to send all of the current jobs

If you feel comfortable trying to modify a report, you can easily modify most reports to add more selection criteria fields. One of the fields you can add is Job Status which would allow you to automate your report. Here are detailed instructions:
