Currently, the ability to view and update inventory is limited to a single warehouse at a time. Adding the ability to perform these functions across multiple warehouses at the same time would be more efficient for companies having to manage inventory across many warehouses.

There is an extensive amount of functionality and infrastructure devoted to this but some depends on what features you use and how you have them configured. For example, there are the item, inventory, price base and price group global change utilities in IM / Activities / Utilities. The first 2 handle changes available to item and inventory records while the last 2 handle pricing changes across the matrix of pricing available for configuration.
Quantities and costs are completely different in that there is a full audit trail necessary to account for these changes and it is actually coordinated by individual item / warehouse. A physical count for example can be as broad as an entire warehouse (which doesn't have to be a physical location) or as narrow as an item in a bin (however you define that), again depending on how you have configured and use Sage 500.
