Make posting registers a single report, making it easier to save to pdf. Also make the Error Log optional. When posting a register, you currently have to save (and name) 3-4 pdf files rather than 1.

The single report sounds like a good idea. I do, however, think the error log is important. I am able to see an alert that a voucher is being detected as out of balance, when actually it was keyed with the correct amount. This occurs within a recurring voucher I use on a daily basis. Not sure what causes this random glitch, but the error log keeps me from posting a zero line item in error.
It would be better still if you could set up in the module options controls for automatic PDF archiving. In the set up, you would define a folder where the PDFs are to be written. Then, on the Register/Post form, whenever Post is processed, the reports are printed directly to PDF without user action and without a preview screen. This would happen as part of post so that it would document each and every posting regardless of how many times register was run. Also, in this way, there is no errors made in forgetting to save a PDF version manually.
I vote to allow a site to print or not print them at all. It's a wasted step and a waste of paper.
Although I have never implemented it, this customization from Macabe looks promising.
