The dates are initially assigned by calculating forward from the system date using the value of the 'Days to Approve' entries in 'Set Up Approval Types', at the time an approval type is selected for an ECO. In reality, these dates might need to be edited for each new ECO, depending on the required amount of time to complete the sequence step within the ECO.
