For the types of pricing that can be used to automatically provide price discounts to customers (Contract, Inventory, & Promotional Pricing), none result in the discount appearing on the invoice. The price shown on the invoice line and total obviously reflect the discounted price, but the invoice does not make it clear to the customer that they received a discount, or what the discount was. This is problematic. If we are giving a customer a price break, we want the customer to know it. We want the option to have the invoice show what the price would have been without the discount, a line with the discount description that clearly indicates how much the discount is, and then the final price. Please add this. Thanks.

This does work on the quote stage, I don't know why it won't carry over to the invoice. It has been problematic. We do promotional discounts as a line item (negative). This is the only way to show the customer he is getting the discount.
