The Maintain Items - Copy Item tool is very useful. There are two checkboxes in the tool, one for "Copy Categories" and one for "Copy Images." We would like a third checkbox for "Do Not Copy UOMs."
Because the Stock UOM cannot be changed, sometimes the only reason for copying an item is to establish the item with a different Stock UOM. Having the ability to copy everything about an item except for its UOMs would be helpful.

Just for reference, this is not possible as described. An item must have a UOM in Sage 500 ERP. While it is not possible as described, an alternative would be to provide the selection of an alternate UOM at the time of copy.
