Not sure if is possible knowing the age and technology behind the Sage 500 DataMrg, but it needs a little updating to support SQL data types such as BIGINT. Recently ran into an issue using the SDK/VB6/ and the data manager to bind a grid column(clsDMGrid) to a BigInt datatype from SQL Server. Needless to say,, the DataMgr simply failed when it encountered this even though there is a flag called SQL_BIGINT that is available for the data binding.
