Non-essential and non-critical messages are displayed during installation and patch updates. Only display those that need to be dealt with immediately and compromise the install or update. Else, log the rest in a file that can be perused for value and affect after completion.

When running the Patch Test utility on a test & specific folder; it would be very helpful if the log file omitted the source code (.adx) comments. A typical patch test log file is 3000 – 6000 lines – of which 98 % can be ignored because it is not really an issue.
