We need the ability to decrease the quantity of a firm purchase order if it was created by firming up a planned PO. You can increase the quantity, but if you try to decrease it, you get an error that "Entered quantity cannot be less than consumed Quantity". If we try to decrease the quantity of a purchase order that was created by firming up a suggested PO it allows it. In order to reduce the quantity, the line(s) must be deleted, then re-entered. It's a lot of extra steps, when you should just be able to update the quantity.

Agree. We have the same problem. I understand the reason why it won't allow it, however, it should be smart enough to re-open the POP with remaining quantity, and shows the user only a warning message instead of completely blocking it.
