Better support for applications that utilize touch screens is needed. Currently, limitation within SAFE too lset don't allow a developer to create large buttons and user friendly UIs that are favored for things like shop floor control.

The new web client coming in version 7 will lay the groundwork for this type of UI. The client will be browser agnostic and initially support normal pc displays and smartphones. Later in its evolution it will be adjusted to support tablets (large buttons) which should lend itself to providing support for touch screen processing.
