The SAFE environment needs to be enhanced to better support today's mobile devices (smart phones, tablets, etc.). Additionally, the technology to interact with these types of devices for key transactions and data exchanges is needed. It is not reasonable to think that all user of the ERP system will be stationed at a laptop or desktop for ERP interactions.

The SAFE toolset has been expanded in version 7 to support mobility. This will be "native" to Sage ERP X3 and be managed by SAFE. That means that it will not be written in IOS, etc. An initial offering is planned in both sales and purchasing with the idea of expanding in the future.
