Sometimes clients only have few licenses and we, the consultants, cannot work simultaneously in the system. It would be nice to have temporary licenses (in addition to the client's permanent licenses) to use during implementation.

Also useful during patching and technical support times. We have had major issues lately with our own users not being able to get into the program because there are too many support staff using licenses. Honestly, it is not fair to the customers to have to have extra licenses to accommodate multiple support staff. Alternately, reduce the hefty cost of licenses so it is not such a huge financial burden to have a couple extra.
I would suggest that X3 do as Sage 500 does and use a registration type system that tracks at Sage the number of licenses as well as give each a customer a test registration so they can set up pilot and test systems.
A suggestions that I recently heard - have "Partner Licenses" that the partner can purchase for use on a customer system. We could install the license (ie it may simply increase the use count by 2 ERPFULL) for use during implementation, patching, etc, then remove when the license is no longer required. After removing the license from one customer system, we could re-use the same license on a different customer system.
Another issue - the ERPDEV badge is incredibly restrictive. On a recent project we found times when up to 5 people need concurrent access to the DEV badge however once live this customer would only need one ERPDEV badge. The price for ERPDEV is high, and the multiple badges simply result in an unnecessary annual maintenance cost.
