At present there is no easy way of providing a user with a notification that the batch server has been terminated. Users would like a workflow option that would allow for an email notice to be sent out in the even that the batch server process stops.

I have MANY clients that would love this feature, because when the batch server shuts down the organization's mission critical processes such as inventory allocation, shipping and invoicing are directly impacted and they have no immediate way of knowing there is a problem.

    Our invoicing process is linked to the batch server. If the batch server shuts down the last day of a month, the due date can be shift of one month. Very problematical!
