In X3 BOM's you have the ability to add the same item more than once based on routing sequence so paperwork can show how much is needed per operation. Yet on work orders when you add unexpected material, X3 won't allow same item more than once thus not allowing reports to isolate/identify amount used per sequence.
When creating work orders from a sales order as na 'on the fly' customer requested special, you should be able to create a routing and bom by sequence just as it is when pulling the product and creating a work order. BOM allows multiple item entry yet unexpected won't while it will allow adding of operations using standard operations. Seems odd to be missing all the BOM features since all the doucments/reports are the same.

This is a very important feature! If you add an "unexpedted material" and someone released or consumed, if you want to add another one with the same item, you are unable to do that. This is because the BOMSEQ is allways 0 and when you add another component and because of the key has "ITMREF-BOMSEQ" you cannot add another one.
This is very important!
