The web version allows longer passwords than the client software will allow.
I had a user recently change their password in the web client and it was 13 characters. It worked fine in the web version.
When they went to use the Sage Client software the password did not work unless you dropped the last 3 characters.
After going through support I found out that the max password is 10. The Client will check for that and not allow you to enter a password over 10 but the web client cannot check for that.
Our company uses the web client almost exclusively and I can see this being an issue with another user. I understand the limitations of using the web client and the fact that you can't check the length of the password in the web version so why not just increase the max to 20? That should cover most I think.
