We currently print the payment proposal and double check the vendor invoices to make sure the amount entered into Sage is correct before we run the checks. But the payment proposal only shows the Sage PIN, not the vendor invoice number. This means we have to hand write the Sage PIN on every vendor invoice we enter into Sage in order to be able to cross reference the vendor invoices to the Payment proposal report. (our 20 year old ERP DOS based system let us print a payment proposal showing the vendor invoice number)
The check register also not print the BP invoice number either. The check prints both the Sage PIN and the BP "vendor" invoice number. So we can cross reference the two numbers that way.
We have trucking invoices with the exact same amount. If we want to match the invoices to the check or if we want to research an issue, it makes it very difficult to run a report that does not have the BP invoice number on it.

Penn Union would also like to have the supplier invoice number and the invoice date added to the payment approval workbench so when they are flagging invoices to be paid vs not they can see those numbers.
I have another client that requested the discount due date added to the workbench.
