1) Some of these have been flipping back and forth for years. It may seem trivial, but I have customer sites reporting user confusion after patching, and they end up spending time on entirely unnecessary support issues.
2) I've been asked to provide a list of name changes in the patch release notes so this can be sent to users in advance and save the core team or IT from having to document this during patch testing.
