When an Active product is updated to a Not Usable status, it would be great if X3 could prompt the user to decide whether or not the user would like this change to impact the BOMs and Kits associated with this item. If so, X3 would then dynamically update the standard cost of any BOM and Kit affected by that item's status change and send out a notification with details of the change.

This would eliminate the amount of maintenance that needs to occur in the system, and change it from a manual process to an automated one, especially if the item affect multiple BOM and Kits.
