Although the allocation rules are already fairly flexible, allocation rules could be enhance even further to add more rules such as:

Allocation Rules by Customer or customer type- Some BPs may only want full packs, as opposed to others that do not

Quality Filter by Sub-Status - Instead of just A, Q or R, why not enable bringing it down to the sub-status ( for example, if I use A1, A2, A3 as quality grades, I may want to allocate only A1 and A2...). This would also apply very well if the rules were also by customer!

Proximity Rules - If stock is not available at the Defaulted location, allocate to location closest to the default

Allocation rules by order type - as described in another idea posted here

Batch Allocation based on fair share - as you run the Batch allocation process, select whether quantities should be distributed by order, or allocated among all orders equally. This is especially useful when shortages occur and you want to partially satisfy many customers instead of totally satisfy a few.

Also, in more complex rules, the limit of rule lines needs to be expanded as the limit currently seems to be set to 9...

This was a requirement which resulted from our Tangerine Software Customer Day Round Table Discussions with our Customers.
