For companies using the Pick / Pack / Ship process, add a parameter to restrict the 'deliverable' quantity to the quantity that has been picked, so when the order is validated it will only consume Picked stock, and all other items will not be relieved from inventory.

Some companies may actually want to run the Pick on certain items, and then let the remaining items auto-consume from the detailed allocation location. These customers would not want to see the current functionality changed which is why a parameter would likely be required.

The problem for customers that want to pick 100% of the order before the packing/shipping step, is if an order is picked short then it's necessary for the picker to go into the delivery to reduce the quantity to ship, however this user only has a hand-held ADC device and may not actually get this done. If a delivery is validated either without first checking to see if all items were picked, or accidentally (if they click 'Validate' prematurely), then it will automatically relieve the full qty rather than just what was picked.
