We enter a lot of sales orders, many of which are hundreds of lines long, so the usability of this function is of particular interest to me.

We allocate pretty much everything, and as I mentioned in a previous idea, it would would be great if it would just 'do it' line-by-line without the sales rep having to stop to click Save (or hit Enter/Enter, then mouse back to the grid).

To that I will add:
(1) Say we have a saved/allocated line on an open, not-picked, not-shipped sales order. If you decrease the quantity on a line, it gives an error "Ordered qty smaller than delivered/picked/allocated total!" I understand not messing with it if the line is picked or delivered - but if it's only allocated (particularly a global allocation) : This error shouldn't exist, X3 should just 'do it'.

(2) If you have a line like #1 and try to change the ship site, you can't. It's not grayed out, but the field can't be edited. Again, the kind of thing X3 should just do. The only thing you can do for each of these is to delete the line and re-enter it.

(3) We could probably get around 1 & 2 by having a "Deallocate this line" function from the action button of the line.
