Highlighting of fields or cells is an effective tool for takeoff, pricing and review. It is used to mark starting and stopping places, unusual items, changes, high or low prices, areas of question, work by others or work by someone who has edited another’s work, elements that represent an edge to the bidder, incomplete work, mistakes and more. Anyone wanting to draw attention to, or remember a component would benefit from it. I suggest putting a drop down box for highlighting colors in the toolbar and or menu with options to clear the current field or clear all highlighting. Often reviewers desire printouts. Proving a check box in the report options to allow highlighting to print or be omitted would be helpful as well.
