Make SQL the default database for all MAS90, much more powerful DB then ProvideX
when is this expected to be released?
Sage MAS 200 v4.45, targeted for release in the fall of 2010, will support MS SQL Server as a database platform option for new customers.
"New Customers" ... Hey, how about us EXISTING customers. Some of us would like it as well.
My request was for MAS90 side, not MAS200. I thought MAS200 already supported SQL.
Please make this available for existing customers. Some custom reports we run against the MAS200 database take literally forever to run and some won't even finish after running for hours and have to be killed. We made a copy of the MAS200 database to a SQL server and the same reports run in seconds! Sadly enough, even MS Access performs better than providex. Some of these custom reports are critical for us. HELP!!!!
Just about all mid-market products run on MS SQL. This is a key competitive and performance disadvantage. Help our customers and our sales staff please.
I have 5 customers I would like to upgrade to SQL but they are using Work Order. When will Work Order be available?
@ Harrison C. MAS 200 has a client server ODBC driver that is included but is not the default. Once set up you should see a significant increase in performance in all Crystal reports run within the MAS 200 launcher.
See KO 451950 "How to install and configure the Client Server ODBC driver for Sage MAS 200"
4.45 is the initial release of the SQL product. Starting with the 4.50 product existing users will be able to upgrade to MAS 200 SQL.
