Size 6 is too hard to read for customers that are older or have eyesight issues. I believe anyone who uses MAS 90/200 would appreciate this. Although this might make for a longer report, Sage has introduced the Paperless Office feature which does not require printing out reports.

Size 6 is way to hard to read, size 10 or 12 would be great!!! Older people need larger print. I need my reports printed out.

Size 8 is still too small to read comfortably. It has too much eye strain. I need to get new glasses.
I can tell you I have at least 20 clients that have brought this up after the upgrade.
And I have had all customers ask this after upgrade.

Every client we have upgraded to 4.4 has commented on the font size on standard reports, and none of them have been positive. It's not even relative to age; it's everyone. I thought the font was small, but I have spent way too many years staring at little numbers in front of a monitor, so I am not a good judge. But when even my youngster clients are complaining that the font is too small; then I know it really is an issue.
Most people in accounting would consider me a young person. And I agree that the font is way to small. I can read small print, but these reports give me a headache. Please change the font to a size 10. Thank you.
Also, change the default font. It is very difficult to distinguish between 0 and O. When working with product codes this becomes a real problem.
I was going to disagree with this, but then I remembered I always have to zoom in to distinguish between 8 & 9.
Every one of my clients has complained about the font size after upgrading. It's a real balancing act between enough data on a report and being able to read it. We have modified some of the most-frequently used reports and posting journals in Crystal at 4.3 to make the font bigger, but we had to sacrifice some fields to make it all fit.
Whomever came up with the moneymaking idea that I should have to "pay" to have standard reports "modified" to print in a font size other than 6 pitch needs to understand who the customer is. We are a late updater and no one is happy. My partner wants to migrate back to a previous version and now has an unfavorable opinion of MAS90. Not a good position to be in. The reports should have stayed in the font they were always in and a customer should be given the "option" to select font size 6.
Why should I pay to have reports "customozed" to a font size other than 6. Who came up with this moneymaking scheme? The font should have been left alone or there should be an option. Maybe font size 6 works for some people, but no one (including my customers) are happy with this new "unauthorized by the customer" product enhancement.
The font size needs to be fixed! Maybe the programmers in their 20's are just fine with a font size 6 but those of us who USE the program have to struggle with what you have locked in. Increase the font size to a 10 like it used to be or let us choose the font size for ourselves.
These postings have gone on for over a year. When are you going to fix the problem?
Sage - Please Make this Happen
Size 10 would be the place to start, Not 8
We just upgraded to 4.5 and I can't believe the font size. We are definitely not happy! Please change it or at least give the customer an easy way to change it.
Would the mediator for this site, or someone from Sage, please at least comment back and give us an update on this request?
We just upgraded in July 2012 and we are very unhappy with the way the reports look now. We had an older version and of course everything sounded like it would be great with the Excel drop down capabilites and other enhancements. But to find out that the reports have to each be customized to make the information the same as we had previously on the standard report and make the font size larger so we can actually read it was very upsetting! I expected things to be fairly the same as we had, just improved. I do not feel that this is an improvement and I request Sage to please give us these reports in a larger format as part of our upgrade and it would be nice if they had the same information on them as was standard before. It has been very frustrating the last 4 months and now I have an issue with entering the physical count. PLEASE FIX THE REPORTS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! Whatever is used to be - probably size 10 or 12. Thanks.
It was to small for us to be usable. We went and redid all our reports in Crystal with a larger font size.

As additional features are added and/or field lengths are increased we do have to change the reports to accomodate. As more and more reports are being viewed or sent electronically we added the Default Report Preview Zoom option in User Preferences several releases ago. This way when viewing reports, each user is able to set how large they want to view the report.
THE PRINT ON SOME THE REPORTS WE USE IN PAYROLL AND ACCOUNTS PAYABLE IS TOO TOO TOO SMALL. WE HAVE TO USE A MAGNIFYING GLASS TO USE THEM. THEY ARE NOT REALLY USABLE. WE WISH THAT WE COULD SET THE PRINT SIZE ON THE DIFFERENT REPORTS OURSELF.

Thanks for the comment, Lori, but really how hard would it be to set an option for a larger font? Martha, you can change the font size with the Crystal Designer, although I will admit that is a huge pain and takes quite a bit of time - time that a Business Partner has to charge for.
I realize we would have to live with fewer data columns, but that is much preferable to size 6 fonts. The current reports are barely readable and probably result in eyestrain for most clients. 10 pitch is minimum, even if we have to use multiple reports in place of the current reports. For those who have upgraded, it could be a point of liability.
When is this going to happen? It has been too long....
In our old software, reports were printed in landscape mode, so more columns could be included while keeping the font at a decent size. This is preferable to eye strain and headaches.
I find it very difficult to read the reports at the size 6 fonts...And I don't really want to have to pay someone to enlarge the fields in the crystal report...I've paid enough for the software itself
I am in agreement with all of the above complaints. The font size is way too small. It is definitely causing eye strain.
