Currently master sales orders when deleted are not prompted to save to history. This leaves a huge traceability hole for order history (at least how we do things).

  • I agree, the system should prompt you when the master order is complete, meaning all items have been scheduled against a "Standard Order" then be saved to Sales/Quote History Inquiry. Currently the user needs to keep track when the Master Order is complete and manually delete it, otherwise the order will appear in the Open Sales Report.

  • IT is critical to have it in history because if someone inadvertently deletes the order there is way of resurrecting the order as well figuring ut what has not been drawn down on the order. If one is retaining deleted orders, then all orders should be in the history table for audit purposes.
