Problem. We have supervisors in the field who need to make purchasing decisions quickly.

Suggestion: Create an iphone, blackberry or other cellular telephone interface with the purchase order module. Conceptually, a field supervisor could initiate a purchase order via his or her cellular telephone. Define an upper dollar limit and route purchase orders exceeding such limit to the right authority.

Benefits: Real time purchase order authority and automatic data entry by the end user eliminating the need for somebody to copy the purchase order into MAS.
