It would be very helpful to have the Sales Order Line Comments copy over when generating the corresponding purchase order. Right now if you choose to Summarize the Drop Ship Lines by vendor, you cannot choose to Include Sales Order Item Line Comments. I'm not sure why the two options are mutually exclusive.

• If the comments are related to a particular item, you could enter a comment on the item line in SO. We do this for drop ships and the comment pulls over to the PO.

• This only an issue with Auto Generate from Sales Order. When we create a PO from PO Entry, select drop ship, then enter the SO number, the line item comments come over. We end using the auto generate function to get the PO numbers, then delete the necessary drop ship POs and re-enter them in PO entry. Time consuming and a hassle.
