Need the ability to assign items to customers.
It will be nice to set a primary customer to the inventory items.
Idea is to prevent sales force using wrong item codes for a customer where you have item codes defined by customers.

  • Use the Purchase Control Maintenance feature in the Sales Order module.

    You can turn this feature on in Sales Order Options on the Line Entry tab. Depending upon what is "shorter", you can select to control purchases on "Items Allowed" or "Items Not Allowed".

    Once turned on, go to Purchase Control Maintenance (under Sales Order > Setup) and select the Customer and Items they can or cannot purchase.
