The report should report data by EmployeeKey not EMP # so changing department or EMP # will still repot older data.

  • Since Check History Report does bring up the history for the employee, in spite of Employee Number changes, this should be feasible in the Audit Report. By creating this in the Audit Report, it alleviates having to run several audit reports for one Employee using their different EE #s - add a new field to include the different EE#'s.

  • This issue also affects the Employee Pay Rate Change Report. My customer is trying to view the history for an employee whose department has changed. Although the data exists in the file by employee key, they cannot access the older records because the report is based on the employee number. The customer is frustrated that they may need to pay for a custom report to access this information.

  • We would like to look up the payrate history report by employee name not by the employee key. Our employee change from one department to another, then you lose the payrate history because the two digit prefix changes for the department. We don't think it is fair to pay for a crystal report to get a payrate history report for an employee just because they changed departments.
