In the old work order system when a receipt of goods was created for a work order, it would update the work order and the general ledger to work in process. In the new production management, we now have to not only do the receipt of goods which puts the inventory into the work order, but now we have to due a transaction in production management in daily material usage to move the costs to work in process creating a register and a general ledger daily transaction report. This extra step is cumbersome and I do not see any logical reason for this when the old po module did it all at one time in receipt of goods. Please remove this extra requirement. Thank you.
