According to Knowledgebase Solution ID: 250820160537977, the fact that the Option Interaction Step isn't used in PM Work Ticket creation is "working as designed", but having a different step number is one of the main reasons to have Option Interactions. This feature worked in the legacy Work Order module, so why would Sage remove this important feature in Production Management? The BM_OptionInteractionHeader table even has a separate WorkTicketStepNo field because the field size was increased from 4-digits to 6-digits. If Sage engineering created a new field specifically for the PM module, why wouldn't they write the code to actually use it?! Having the step number default to the last Option bill step number is useless and counterintuitive. This should be considered a bug and not just an idea.
