When you run Sage advisor it should at the very least notify you that there are Hot Fixes, program/fixes or corrective updates related to your Sage Programs.
For Example; I had an Issue with Sage 100 Payroll.The First thing I did was to run Sage Advisor and it said my program was up to date was up to date. So I went into the Knowledge base, searched and eventually found the fix for my issue. It was corrected with two separate updates, "Sage100Payroll2.26.0ProgramFixPR2260-02T" and "Sage100Payroll2.26.0ProgramFixPR2260T". However, running Sage Advisor did not alert me that Sage had issued updates/corrections to Payroll 2026. I wasn't notified in any way to the fixes that had been issued.
Solution: Either start sending out email notices when a correction is issued or have Sage Advisor search for those types of updates and notify you when you run the program.
