I agree that this enhancement would be very helpful. But Pete, in case you are not aware, depending on your situation you might be able to use IM transactions for this instead of POs and SOs. We buy/sell between sister companies within our MAS500 system every day, but instead of POs and SOs, we use IM-sale and IM-purchase.
We have used both methods stated above. It would be very beneficial to do an inter-company JE that would be able to handle both company's transactions when transferring inventory.
Yes this is mandatory for most current corporate structures. It should function just as the current AP cross company functions and create the correct intercompany JE's.
