As many new developers using the SDK will be dependent on the infomation found in the On Line Reference Guide to develop custom applications in MAS 500, I recommend adding as much detail as possible (Sample code, explanations of parameters, etc.) to the documentation. A developer should be able to use the steps outlined in the implementation section including the sample code documented to get a function such as the selection engine working correctly and quickly. I recommend using a step by step type of outline to aid a novice MAS 500 developer in implementing a routine. If necessary do as Microsoft does and have sample VB 6 projects available for download that demonstrate these techniques with abundant comments to explain certain sections a developer can review to see how to do it themselves.

Today's On Line Reference is incomplete in many areas when it comes to implementing such things as the selection engine or the validation manager which frustrates novice MAS 500 developers when they need to create custom MAS 500 tasks using VB 6
