The existing V7.30 Credit Card processes should be enhanced to support delayed shipping/billing situations as expected by many Manufacturing companies where orders can be placed weeks or months before actual shipments will be made.
1) A task to reissue expired Pre-Auths when a shipment is generated
2) Availability of Credit Card Payment References through and including Process Invoices and Cash Receipts to facilitate collection of monies as an accounting function, not as part of shipping

Also - The ability to perform an automated pre-auth of all upcoming shipments that was included in the previous PSG credit card solution should be included in this enhancement as well.
This would help with those companies that add Freight at the time of the shipment. Currently, if the freight was not included with the Pre-Authorization, the freight will not be included in the sale amount and it is listed as a balance on the invoice. This creates extra work that isn't necessary.
Agreed... we cannot upgrade out of our current version without a custom enhancement because we don't charge some of our customers cards until after we invoice due to the fact we have a add-on product for sales tax in AR.
