Transfer orders should be a warehouse feature and not require the SO module. With the PO and WM modules you can create the transfer order, approve it and also receive the transfer order but because you need the SO module to ship the transfer the receipt fails.

I agree. It seems to me that the only module you should need in order to transfer inventory from one warehouse to another is the IM module. This is possible with a simple one-step transfer, but, if you need to generate shipping paperwork (e.g., a BOL) for the transfer, which I would think would be needed anytime a third-party freight carrier is moving the inventory, then the system requires you to do a three-step transfer in order to generate the paperwork in the SO module. And of course the three-step transfer also then requires the user to use the PO module to receive the inventory. Again, it just seems like there should be a way to generate shipping paperwork without having to go through the complexity of a three-step transfer.
