Many customers DO NOT want to print or view the posting reports prior posting. This should be an optional step. It can be either a system wide option, or module by module, or during time of posting.

  • In addition to this, it is a HUGE waste of paper for the reports that are not necessary. In what is now considered a more green environment as well as the digital age, I cannot believe that Sage has not implemented this sooner.

There are many reports that are completely useless when posting a simple entry. Although the print boxes do exist when selecting the post AR batches tab to post multiple batches, you cannot post without printing. The print check boxes are useless and unless the option to post without printing exists (which currently does not) this is a complete waste of time and paper.

  • You might like an enhancement from The Macabe Associates that allows all the reports in MAS 500 to automatically be printed to PDF - That is green and IF you ever need them you can retrieve them from within MAS 500.

  • I got this today from another customer... "There just has to be a way to shut off the printing of these things. We go through a couple of reams of paper a week from them, and are using up toner way faster than we ever did. Why would a software program make something mandatory to print, and if they did, why didn’t someone complain enough long before we had this installed?

I’m begging the question again…. How do we make these stop printing?"
