UOM fields are currently limited to six characters, and I have bumped up against that limit several times. For example, I needed to set up a UOM to represent an 18.926 liter case. If I could have, I would have established the UOM as "C-18.926L". But since I'm limited to six characters, I had to enter it as "C18.9L".
