Enhance Sales Order Entry and Maintenance by including a "Copy Line" capability in the standard entry grid. We currently have "Copy Order", Insert, and Add but no "Copy Line" function.
This would enable the following 2 productivity enhancements:
1) Since lines don't support multiple shipment distributions, "Copy Line" would assist in creating multiple distributions by enabling much easier entry of "Ship me 100 pcs each month for the next 12" - add 1 line, copy 11 times.
2) When a line needs to be added to support a line split or fulfilment date change, the existing line information can be easily copied to a new line. Select the existing line, copy to a new line, make whatever modifications (quantities, dates, etc). This could be done without having to re-enter the entire line information or modify line defaults just for that single case.
