For the most part, there is a system in place to log changes to database tables which records when those changes took place and by whom.

Why not expand on this and create a management front end that would allow you to turn on and off logging for specific tables and fields and have the ability to add "extended" custom tables and fields for logging also.

Maybe have a viewable front end to be able to search for changes on a specific table and field or a value
