Either add Contact data to the User record or allow entry of a contact record for each user. We would like to store Title, Phone and Email for the users.

Agreed. It would be nice to be able to associate contact information with a User Account regardless of whether it's a Windows User account or a SQL User Account.
This idea could also be expanded to Document Transmittal to allow users to CC or BCC other MAS 500 users within the email as well.
