Create an easy way to rename the column captions for Business Insights Explorer. Currently this is a very manual process that must be done for each user. Even the SQL script provided from Sage must be run for each user. There needs to be an easy way to change this site wide. The default column names are poorly done. Some have duplicate names for different fields or very close names so you don't know what you will get until you add them to a report and run it. The current method for modifying captions wouldn't be so bad if they were done correctly by Sage in the first place.

I might be misunderstanding this, but can't you do this using the task 'Maintain Business Insights Views / Context Menus'? This is a task in MAS500 7.3 (not sure about 7.2, but it was not in 7.05). This allows you to make a global caption change.
I use the method that Jim F. uses and it works for me. However, a user still has the ability to override the captions for their own setting.
