Currently the unit if measure setup for an item has a volume field but not a field for length x width x height. The volume isn't specific enough for rating parcel packages that incur additional charges by one or more dimensions exceeding a specified length. It would be ideal to add a carton field to the unit of measure grid. This way not only could you link back to the carton dimensions but you would also have the carton as a reference. I am currently adding this information to the item table but I would prefer to have it available by the uom.
