One of the "audit" triggers on the timInventory table is causing one of our standard MRP runs to go from 10 minutes to approximately 5 hours.

Turning the audit trigger off will return operational times to normal however, we would like to be able to utilize this trigger to know when changes are being made to Inventory. I realize there are other ways around this but I would like to get core functionality restored so this isn't an ongoing issue in the future.

  • The "audit" trigger also causes stored procedures to not work correctly when doing different replenishment calculations, specifically if the user is accesing MAS500 with a citrix connection. Joe Noll of RKL has a write up about it and submitted as a bug.
