Filtering on the 'post date' is not available at the voucher line detail level in Explore. We have to use the voucher line report because it has our tag #'s in the extended comments line of the voucher. It would be great if we could range a given month for these voucher lines.

I agree that the 'post date' field should be included on the Voucher Lines BIE report out-of-the-box. In case you are not aware, the field can easily be added by anyone who has the proper access to SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) in your environment. It involves a back-end change and should therefore only be done by a qualified person and only after verifying database backups, but generally speaking the way to add that field is to find your Sage 500 database in the SSMS Object Explorer tree (probably "mas500_app") and expand it, expand "Views," scroll down to find dbo.vdvVoucherLines and right-click it, click "Design," find the tapVoucher table, scroll down in the tapVoucher table and click the checkbox next to PostDate, and finally click the "Save" icon on the toolbar. Post Date will now be included on the Voucher Lines BIE for all users of your Sage 500 system the next time they open the report.
