We switched from QuickBooks. When receiving multiple checks in a day, we could print a deposit slip (ordered from Deluxe with our bank info on it) that print a detail of the checks and totaled them up. That's what we took to the bank. Now, there's no way of doing that. The only thing were can do is a put a sticky note with the handwritten bank account info and total on it our selves and I find that very unprofessional and easier to screw up as we have multiple accounts.

We are in the same situation, just came from quickbooks and this makes it difficult not having a way to print deposit slips.
Having to manually write out the deposit slip is a pain and looks so unprofessional!
This is a huge inconvenience and I completely agree with Laurie K. that this is extremely unprofessional. This software was not cheap and now I have to go from printing (in my old software) to handwriting multiple deposit slips. This issue should be addressed.
3-3-1-31 report with a report form we created to mimic our existing deposit forms. We migrated from Sage50 and had the same situation. The computer generated deposit slips do look much more professional. We can still use our form, only have to enter the total and # of checks, otherwise it's 90% ok.
Time for SAGE to come into the 21st century and get this software easier to use, better report conditions and printable deposit slips. Besides that SAGE can make more money selling the deposit slips. That's a no brainer.
In addition to my previous comment, we modified the report to add a pop-up window that allows us to fill in the additional info needed on the deposit slip. (# of checks, total deposit, etc). We now have a report that works great, requires no handwritten info, and also can be accessed for other deposits as needed. - Just utilize your report writer and modify the report. I'm happy to offer more info on what we created if anyone needs more help.
Seems like a lot of work for something that we should be able to easily set up to include the date, a listing of all checks (numbers and amounts), & total deposit amount. Furthermore, it would be nice if we could set it up to have our routing and account number to populate as well. There are a lot of preprinted deposit slips out there and I understand that SAGE cannot create a program to fit all, but allowing us to have a template to modify would sure be helpful. For as sophisticated as this software is, it seems like such a minor item that should have been though of.
Better do credit card transactions after you print that report or it adds those to the report. It is a pain.
get a scanner from your bank. no need for deposit slips.
