Sales Tax Reports should merge both Service Receivables and Client Receivables into one report.
There should be a breakdown showing what is owed to each entity.
Example: State 5.6% $2000 x 5.6% = $112.00
County .7% $2000 x .7% - $ 14.00
(State & County Reported and paid to the State: $126.00)
City 2% $2000 x 2% = $40.00
Total 8.3% $2000 x 8.3% = $166.00
Currently it totals all of these items under a Tax District.

Comments

  • yes this merge for all the sales tax under one report would make matters easier

  • We also need this report to display sales tax by cash method or accrual method

  • I agree, having the sales tax broken out by taxing authority would be so helpful as listed in the example by Lisa S. And one sales tax report for service and client receivables would be so much more efficient.

  • Delivered in version# 24.2.
