Fix the date format in the software. It is unbelievably difficult to work with this software since you have to enter the date as dd/mm/yy. This is a huge downfall to this software

You do not need to type "/" to enter the date. You can enter 100814 and the system will understanding it is 10/08/2014 automatically.
Date entry has always been mmddyy and if in the current year you only need enter mmdd. the "/" is not required.
Did you notice that in SQL V20.5 the date is now entered as 75 for 0705 in the older V19.7? Why can't we get either format to work?
You can change the date format in utilities. To avoid confusion, it is recommended that you change your windows time format to match Sage.
